Day 3

Well, we have had 0 accidents today...that's right, I said 0, as in "zero". We are still a half hour out from bed time and he is drinking a cup of juice at the moment, so yes, there is potential for error but I am quite pleased with the day. He is wearing the same underwear I put on him this morning.

Two things, though...number 1 I've slowly realized I am going to have to eventually leave the house and that scares me. I don't think I want to use Pull-Ups, although, I have to admit I see the desire there. I am just scared he will think they are diapers and we will revert back.

Number 2 - the water trick. Yes, it has worked wonders and is the primary reason we haven't had so many accidents because it gets him to release his urine as he should...but he now only goes pee if I use the water. So I think tomorrow I will ditch the water and go back to having regular accidents until he learns to pee on his own.

I'll let you know how tomorrow goes.

This is so great. I mean that if you look at this experience it's like all other transforming powers. The first day is the hardest, but each day gets better until goal is accomplished. Sounds a little like the 500 calorie start...

I also love that your prayed for tools not for miracles. That is the KEY to power from on high. I know inspiration and answers flow when YE SEEK. I pray to get up and without, I don't.

Well...CONGRATS on the SUCCESS! KEEP IT UP & KEEP PRAYING!

PS: I LOVE YOU. I just saw your text message to me on the day that my dad died! I had no idea anyone even knew on the day it happened since Gerardo didn't tell anyone for a week! I about cried when I saw that today while waiting in the doctor's office for 2 hours. It made my day.

You've been a huge blessing in my life. Thank you so much for ALWAYS BEING THERE. You show up. You're very present in all of our lives. Kind of amazing to think ONE person can mean so much to so many of us. I LOVE YOU & THANKS!
